If I could have my wedding again (with the same husband, DUH) over and over again, I would hire mango season over and over again each time. They brought the house DOWN. Considering how UNFAVORABLE the weather was (flash floods, pandemic becoming almost official), Annie and Curtis (and their team) were beyond amazing, professional, ELECTRIC and insanely talented. Curtis was incredibly nice and so pleasant to work with. He really understood what my husband and I were looking for. They crafted our reception so well and ran it sooo smoothly. Our friends and family could not stop raving and talking aout them. They even learned several songs for us and that made our day even MORE special. Unbeknownst to me, they even planned a surprise performance for us with my best friends. I mean, C'MON!! Beyond the gorgeousness of the design, the timeline of set up, ceremony and reception ran perfectly smooth. Leading up to my wedding I was never stressed, and on my wedding day I lived in pure bliss! Words honestly can't describe the magic that Mango Season was at our wedding (literally words aren't enough... we and our guests still watch videos constantly to re-live it). The music was by far the most important part of the wedding to us, and they were the first vendor we hired. From the minute we started working with Curtis he made sure our dreams became reality. We added horns to make it a 10-piece band and paid for extra songs for them to learn, and I still can't believe how amazing they sounded… Most of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to and are still talking about the entire musical experience. Mango Season Weddings is amazing!!! Curtis and DJ Chris provided emcee and DJ services for our wedding in Hawaii at the end of August. Even though we only gave Curtis about a month or so notice he was totally on board and extremely positive! Curtis was so kind, patient and supportive when helping us plan our wedding program. He was very detail oriented and thought of things that we hadn’t (i.e. order of set up for performances, speeches, dances, etc.) to help make our reception incredible! Curtis was extremely professional, down to earth and an absolute pleasure to work with. He was also so responsive and completely eased our nerves. Booking Curtis to perform during my wedding reception is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was going back and forth on whether I should hire a guitarist/vocalist to perform during my micro-wedding reception/dinner. About a month before the wedding, I reached out to Mango Season Weddings to see if anyone was available. By chance (and my wedding taking place on a Monday), Curtis was available to perform. He immediately scheduled a Zoom meeting to get an idea of the vibe I was going for, and by the end of the meeting he could describe my vision better than I could put into words. He single-handedly turned my boring dinner into a RECEPTION with his music and ability to read the room. I don't think I have ever seen my dad so happy (Curtis played classic rock for him), and somehow he had the majority of our 15 guests dancing by the end of the night. He truly is an exceptional person and performer. My family is so grateful he was a part of our big day.

We booked them a little over a year before our November 2021 date and had monthly zoom meetings up until the final month...and then COVID regulations forced us to push our date back by 5 months. Annie gave us the absolute best advice on how to move on and made that process so easy for us. On our wedding day, we didn't feel any pressure at all and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved everything. When you book them (I promise you won't need to look anywhere else), make sure that you have Curtis emcee and handle your music. He will sing like there is no tomorrow and have your guests laughing until they can't breathe.

Annie is theee best wedding planner you could ever have. I would know... we've been planning my wedding for TWO years because of the pandemic LOL. She, along with her husband Curtis, are the sweetest people. They go above and beyond to make sure your dream wedding comes true. Ours surely did! For example, my mother in law didn't want her cake to go to waste, so Annie held a huge tray of pieces of cake to hand out to all of our guests during the drive thru reception and they were all taken! I swear I'm going to cry thinking about how beautiful our wedding turned out and it was so bittersweet saying good bye to Annie and Curtis at the end. Mango Season Music blew me away. Before the ceremony, Curtis played some great Hawaiian slack key guitar. He also learned three songs for the ceremony - two instrumental covers of vocals, and one vocal - and pulled them off with aplomb. During the dinner portion of the reception, we had a jazz trio and they played an great set of tunes: Moondance, Fly Me To The Moon, Mango Season's own Lanikai Moon etc. They have a really fun funky, jazzy, groovy style, and my guests loved the songs they played!

Annie and Curt are two really amazing people who happen to be running an incredible business. Their love for music, love for others, and love of life is readily palpable to those of us who are lucky enough to get to know them. Annie and Curt…played/sang as a duet during our cocktail hour and dinner, and did a beautiful job performing the song of our choice for our first dance (which they also provided a recording of in advance so we could practice to it). Finally our DJ (ML Smoothy) really brought down the house with one of the best dance parties I've ever seen at a wedding.
